I have a problem with my dog jumping on people.?
My dog gets excited when he sees people and jump on them. I tried everything to get him to stop. I tried putting the knee into his chest, pushing down with your hands and say NO, holding and squeezing her claws and put her down and say NO. I even tried a necklace bra and holding his back so he can not go anywhere until that is settled. I tried to ignore it. Nothing seems to work. I have also tried a choke chain and harness. Everyone who comes here or press ignores his claws and says no. I'm on disability and can not pay for her obedience classes. She knows I'm the boss and listening anything more than that. My dog loves the water, so the spray bottle is out. I also tested the treatment on hand. I've tried almost everything imaginable.
One thing that worked for one of my dogs had this problem and the same love of water that you mention is to put a spoonful of white vinigar 16 to 20 oz bottle spray, which will make the water smell and bad taste, but it will not hurt the dog and so it is a punishment, not a gift or a game.
