Conversion of a network to a car charger?

Hi, I'm importing a remote Training Collar for a dog U.S. to Australia. http://shop.sportdogbrand.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=10 Charger 110 volt input is useless for Australia supply is about 200 to 240 volts. Will I be able to cut the power plug, connect the cigarette lighter socket of the car, and succeed in charge? Greetings.

Neither the website or the owner's manual mentions the charger output voltage. Neither seem to offer a car charger. If 12 volts DC and if there is nothing unique about charger (like the current limit – which I suspect may be the case) required for charging the batteries safely, you might be able to install a cigarette lighter plug. Make sure you get the correct polarity. You may want to ensure that radio frequencies used by the device to comply with local regulations.
