I have been told to walk a dog with spiked collar …?

this is for a Christmas pageant for human society. The dog is very aggressive dog and may be surprised by the children, I'm sure everyone will be in the parade waiting for hand outs of candy. I have never used this type of collar for my training dog in years, and I'm not sure you want to use. They hope the dog is adopted. What would you do in my situation? Want to walk the dog a pinch or prong collar or not at all? Please read the question, I am not suggesting that the prong collar, I've never used one and not like them. I wanted to know your opinion to do since I'm not comfortable with it at all

It seems almost ironic to think of walking a dog in the parade of the Humane Society using an inhumane device as a spiked collar. Oh, sure we've all heard, "oh just seem cruel, but it does not really hurt the dog at all." You know, kind of like put your child in the neck with a Bic pen when he misbehaves. People who use pinch collars or prongs are those who have neither the knowledge nor the patience to train a dog properly. Oh here it is —- "I've been a professional dog trainer for 100 years and have always used a string of points — blah, blah, blah" If the dog is socialized enough to walk safely in the parade do not need a prong collar, and if not then public torture was not going to do the trick. The paradox is that a dog exhibits behavior that the collar is supposed to inhibit not, at that time, the focus on the neck anyway. If you do not have confidence in the behavior of dog then do not put in the parade. You are waiting to be adopted, but I want to prove that you can not trust? What's next? A Taser gun to keep people off the lawn? Edit: If you say you do not believe in the neck, then you have answered your own question, and good for you. I say no and people do pay me money for my opinion.
